1.Who these terms are between
This agreement is between Bold Redhok Technology (“we”, “us”), a company based in Accra, OAK Villa Estate, Ghana, and the business that subscribes to Bold Bolt (“you”, “the shop”).
The person who first accepts these terms for a shop declares that they may bind that business. Every other user of the shop accepts them for their own account when they first sign in.
2.What the service is
Bold Bolt is software delivered over the internet: selling and point of sale, stock and warehouses, customers and credit, suppliers and purchasing, accounting, payroll, agents and commissions, sub-agencies, reports, and a site materials calculator for the building trades. Which of these you may use depends on your plan.
We improve the software continuously. Features may be added, changed or retired. We do not remove a module you are paying for without telling you and offering a way forward.
3.Accounts and who may use them
- Each person gets their own account. Sharing one login between several people is not allowed, because it makes the audit trail meaningless and puts your money at risk.
- The shop owner decides what each employee may do, action by action, and may withdraw a right at any time.
- You must tell us promptly at support@boldredhok.tech if you believe an account has been compromised.
- You are responsible for what happens under your users’ accounts.
4.Trial, plans and what they include
A new shop starts with a free trial of fourteen days, with every module open on small allowances and no card required. When the trial ends, access stops until a plan is activated.
Each plan carries an allowance: users, products, warehouses, checkout counters and sub-agencies. A sub-agency is a complete shop of its own and carries its own allowance. Current prices and allowances are published on our pricing page and are the ones that apply.
Extra seats, extra sub-agencies or a module opened for your shop alone are agreed with us and recorded against your shop. They do not change anyone else’s plan.
5.Negotiated contracts
Some customers do not fit a published plan. For those, we agree a contract: what is included, how many sub-agencies it covers, the price, and the term, which is typically several years for our Unlimited plan.
A negotiated contract is set out in writing and signed by both sides. Where it differs from these terms, the signed contract wins for the points it covers, and these terms continue to govern everything else.
6.Payment, renewal and suspension
- Subscriptions are paid in advance, monthly, yearly, or for the term of a negotiated contract. Prices are in Ghana cedis unless your contract says otherwise.
- We accept bank transfer and mobile money. We do not store card numbers. Payment is confirmed by us before the subscription window opens.
- When a subscription expires, the shop is suspended: nobody can sign in until it is renewed. Suspension is not deletion. Your data stays where it is.
- Payments already made are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise or where we have failed to deliver the service and could not put it right.
- We may change published prices. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we give at least thirty days’ notice before it affects your renewal.
7.How you may and may not use it
You agree not to:
- use Bold Bolt to break the law, launder money, or keep records you know to be false;
- attempt to reach another shop’s data, probe our systems, or work around the limits of your plan;
- resell, sublicense or white-label the service without a written agreement with us;
- upload malicious code, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
- use the messaging features to send unsolicited bulk messages, which our Anti-Spam Policy covers in detail.
Serious or repeated breach lets us suspend the shop. We tell you why, and we give you a chance to put it right unless the breach is criminal or puts other customers at risk.
8.Who owns what
Your data is yours. Products, customers, sales, stock, ledgers, employees: they belong to your business. We hold and process them to provide the service, on your instructions, and for nothing else. We never sell them.
The software is ours. Bold Redhok Technology owns Bold Bolt, its code, design and brand. Your subscription buys the right to use it, not the software itself.
We may publish aggregated statistics that cannot identify a shop or a person, for example the total number of businesses using the platform.
9.Availability, backups and support
We work to keep the service available at all times, and we host it on infrastructure built for that. We do not yet publish a contractual uptime guarantee; when we do, it will be stated here or in your contract. Planned maintenance is announced in advance whenever it is likely to interrupt work.
We take backups of the platform and can restore it after an incident. Backups protect the service as a whole; they are not a substitute for exporting your own records, which you can do at any time from the reports and documents in the app.
Support is available by email at support@boldredhok.tech, by WhatsApp and by phone on the numbers in the footer, during business hours.
10.Liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
You remain responsible for your own tax, accounting and regulatory obligations. Bold Bolt helps you keep your books; it does not replace your accountant or your legal advisers.
11.Ending the agreement
- You may stop at any time by not renewing, or by writing to us. We do not tie you in beyond the period or the contract term you have paid for.
- Export what you need before you go. On written request we provide an export of your shop’s data.
- We may end the agreement for serious breach, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we give you at least ninety days’ notice and a way to take your data with you.
- After termination we keep your data for the period set out in our Privacy Policy, then delete it. You can ask for erasure sooner: see Delete Your Account & Data.
12.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Each version carries a date, and the current one is always published here. When a change affects what you agreed to, we ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in, and we record which version you accepted and when.
13.Law and disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction. If your business is established elsewhere, this does not remove protections you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
Before going to court, talk to us. Most disputes end with a phone call to contact@boldredhok.tech.
