API and integrations

Bold Bolt, connected to the rest of your business

Your shop does not live alone. It issues legal invoices, collects through payment providers, keeps money in banks and works with other software. The Bold Bolt API connects all of it.

API access is activated shop by shop, on request.

What you can connect

Standardised e-invoicing platforms

Send every invoice to the tax authority platform of your country the moment it is issued, and keep its validation number on the invoice. Built for the national e-invoicing systems now spreading across Africa and Europe.

Your payment providers

Collect through the mobile money, card and payment link providers your shop already uses. A confirmed payment closes the sale or settles the invoice by itself.

Banking platforms

Follow your bank accounts in real time, bring statements in automatically and match them against what the books expect.

Third party software

Accounting software, e-commerce stores, marketplaces, logistics partners and the dashboards of your suppliers or financiers.

Your own tools

Read sales, stock, customers and figures from your own scripts, spreadsheets or business intelligence tools.

Events as they happen

Be told when a sale is made, stock runs low, a payment arrives or a delivery is done.

How it works

Keys per shop

The owner creates an API key for the shop, names it, and can revoke it at any moment.

Rights, not trust

A key carries rights, exactly like a person: read only, sell, receive stock. Nothing more than it is given.

Same rules as the counter

An order taken through the API checks the stock, the price and the credit limit, and posts to the books like any other sale.

A trail for everything

Every call is recorded with the key that made it, so you always know who did what.

Who uses it

  • A supermarket that must send every receipt to the national e-invoicing platform
  • A hardware wholesaler whose online store must read live stock
  • A group that wants its bank balances next to its books every morning
  • A franchise head office that consolidates figures from shops on several systems
